Can thanks to my friend Jamie (Jerry per Wingmane): Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma is soft dill, grain. Taste is tangy, dill, grain, tingle finish, salty.

My tasting will be by a 12 oz can from a Total Wine in Austin obtained a couple of months past. I have my New Belgium globe glass in place for the pour, I see a clear, gold-orange body completed by a steadfast head of parchment tan foam. The smell is sweet fruit and pine. And finally I take a drink to find grapefruit, pineapple, pine needles, malt, toasted bread and a bit of mango. A throwback IPA, there is plenty of bitterness, hard to believe it is 100 IBU worth, but whatever and a firm dryness. I like it all although all IPAs are well down the list for my preferred styles.

Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a very nice two centimetre tall tan head that fades pretty quickly above the 90 per cent opaque body. Aroma of sour fruity candy with a light dose of oranges and some grapefruits, but only a touch of actual alpha acid bitterness here with some decent malts right behind as well to support the hops. Aftertaste shows some rich bitterness towards the end that finally brings out the hops and alpha acids with a light dose of sugars with a lot of citrus flavours and some smooth wheatie malts throughout, but the nice layer of sweetness that seems to originate from the soured candy makes this more robust and complex throughout. Overall, a pretty nice beer with a great fresh hop profile that brings out the candy sweetness and the citrus aspects - very good to sample, especially very fresh and super local. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased yesterday from Freeman's Liqour Shop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023 for US$4,95, canned on 20-October-2022 and sampled a day later here in my hotel room in [downtown] Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 12-January-2023.

Pretty hazy golden and straw coloured body with a fluffy, large, off-white head, about six centimetres tall that fades very quickly to an ugly lace on the sides. Aroma of lemonade of course, fresh lemons, a bunch of sugars, some dry citrusey elements with a light wheatie quality and some grass towards the end of the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Pretty fresh and soured, very tart lemon and grapefruit flavours come out, with a lot of sugars as well, with a big tartness towards the end and showing some nice Country Time Lemonade sweet and sour balance with a lot of fresh lemons, but the slight artificial quality to this makes it go down a bit easier. Aftertaste shows some light grainy and malt qualities with a lot of easy-drinking wheats and nothing too pungent or potent, but the tartness gives this a bit of a kick, but this is pretty easy-drinking. Overall, a nice and enjoyable soured, tart, citrusey and very lemonadey beer with some good malt notes and a solid backbone, but sweet throughout and pleasantly tart. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased yesterday at Trader Joe's in Oklahoma City (Nichols Hills), Oklahoma on 09-January-2023 for US$1,75, canned on 27-October-2022 and sampled in my hotel room here in [downtown] Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 10-January-2023.

Draught at Pizzeria Gusto, 12/27/22. Turbid bronze-maize. Small, off-white head slowly to ring. Initially some heavy bubble gum makes me a bit skeptical, but no resin, twang, sugar, alcohol or onion emerges and instead creamy-sweet honey-like malts and juicy, lightly tropical but also balanced pine and citrusy hops. In the mouth it's well-balanced with a soft texture, malty and well attenuated. Juicy citrus, pine and light tropical fruit with no sign of twangy, melony, oniony or resinous notes. Ample bitterness, dry but creamy. Like the initial/original NEIPAs before everyone moved away from English yeast and started trying to get (mostly too) experimental with the hop additions.

Can thanks to wombat23. Virtually black with a thin, creamy head that makes a quick exit. Big vanilla and coconut aroma with dark chocolate undertones. Taste is a somewhat mundane moderate sweet with lingering vanilla. Medium-bodied with a slightly watery texture that feels out of place. Moderate booze at the finish. Okay.
