Pours from growler a hazy golden-orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Strings of lacing. The aroma consists of citrus, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Can 12fl.oz. @ home. [ As Kern River River Buddy ].Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, fruity, light grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, citrus - grapefruit, fruity, pale malt, medium dry. Ok with food but otherwise too simple. Maybe can is a bit old? Whose knows, but someone left (or removed) BB/canning-date from the can ...

Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and crispy. Light clean pale malts bring a light sweetness. Decent orangey citrus, touch of lemon and tangerine. Modest pine. Touch of hop spice. Light finish. Nothing out the ordinary here, plenty more.complex DIPAs around but this one delivers light clean drinkability in spades.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a lacing, white head. Herbal, citrusy nose - but not exactly in your face. Rich, malty body, biscuity. Solid tropical hops and a solid bitterness. Nice old school IPA, but slightly oxidized by now. 240418
