Tap at Cap Hop. Pours unclear gold with a white head. Aroma is slightly sweetish mixed fruits. Med body or so. Flavor is mixe fruits - lots of tropical, and grapefruit; pine. Malt seems very lightly roasty. Might consider the beer juicy. Reasonably dry; definitely bitter.Not a harsh strong impact, but quite pleasing.

Got as a gift from RaulMondesi. 22 ounce bottle into snifter, no bottle dating. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky khaki head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark/brown bread, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, vanilla, cream, toffee, molasses, dark fruit, citrus, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of black/roast/bready malts and light-moderate citrus/pine hop notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark/brown bread, and nuttiness; with lighter notes of smoke, charcoal, vanilla, cream, toffee, molasses, dark fruit, citrus, pepper, pine, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate roast/char and pepper/piney/citrus peel hop bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, toasted dark/brown bread, nuttiness, smoke, char, citrus, pepper, pine, light molasses/dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of black/roast/bready malts and light-moderate citrus/pine hop flavors; with an awesome roast/hop bitter/sweet balance; and zero acrid/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from hop/char bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 8.5%. Overall this is an incredible imperial stout! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of black/roast/bready malts and light-moderate citrus/pine hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish. For an American style imperial stout, this does everything perfectly. Very rich and complex malts with supporting American C hops, without overwhelming the malt profile. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

Bomber from 'Old Town Liquor' Temecula. Drank on 23rd Dec 2017. First two pours were a clear golden colour, sediment arrived on the third, so a cloudy finish; head a white affair. Tropical fruit aroma with a slight pine twist, taste also fruity with a citrus leaning below the light malty front. Decent.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Hazy straw-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lace. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, piney hop and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. The beer is a brown-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing. Aroma of roast coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium body with a roasty coffee and malt character, with some dark chocolate in the background. The finish is espresso and malt. Pretty good overall.

650ml bottle. Pours pitch black with a smooth light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, chocolate, coffee and hops. Taste is smooth, roasty and hoppy with some herbal notes, coffee, chocolate and hints of syrup. Finish is hoppy, roasty and chocolatey with some coffee and earthiness. Pretty nice hoppy stout.

@ Mikkeller Bar SF. Dark brown, medium head. Has a whack of coffee, some sticky sweet malts. Has a full body, coffee, a touch of sticky malts. Good, dryish, balanced, rather drinkable impy.
