Keg at the Balance taproom, MCR, 04/10/24. Golden orange with an off white cap that escapes to the edge. Nose is tangy citric zest, herb, orange rinds, hedgerow, dusty grains. Taste comprises grass, herb, hedgerow, lemon rind, damp wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced acidic spike. Tidy.

Taste comprises lemon rind, green berry must, barnyard nip, vinous. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic rasp. Solid saison.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours clear, light yellow, mildly effervescent with a frothy, pure white head. Light sweet flavour with soft citric tartness, balanced dry funk, but of salinity, lemon peel, grass, pine needles. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Lightly drying finish, nice cleansing saltiness, further citric tang, pale wood dryness, mild citrus pith. Wonderful beer. Great depth for the ABV.
