330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.7%, IBU a meagre 6 (Sorachi Ace hops). Fermented with lactobacillus brevis and Japanese sake yeast. Ingredients include umeboshi (a salty plum/apricot-like fruit) and baies de sansho (whatever that may be - some peppery leaves, I believe). Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Interesting spicy aroma, notes of dill, lemongrass and bay leaves. Light bodied as expected. Medium sour flavour, slightly salty, notes of sour fruits and some herbs.

330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.3%. Hops are Chinook and Hallertauer Blanc. Brewed with tomatos, basil and lactose. Pink to peach coloured beer, cloudy, with a small pinkish off-white head. Aroma of fruit, fresh tomatos and basil. The flavour is fruity / citrussy, also notes of tomatos and basil. Moderate hops (35 IBU). Tastes better than it sounds. I am sure it is good with pizza, but also drinkable and refreshing on its own.

25/06/2017 - tasting glass @ Swafff 2017. Hazy orange with small creamy head. Nose is sour, vinegar, some wood, fruits. Taste is sharp sour, vinegar, some wood, I you try, you might find some "saison" elements but they are overpowered by the sourness.

Thank you for sharing Antwerp Untappd Crew! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2017! Tomato & Basilicum IPA, finally, lol. Hazy orange, off-white. Nose is indeed basilicum, basic big tomato, oregano, sweet orange,... Taste is weird basilicum, tomato, sweet, oregano, oily,... Lightly watery, soft carbonation. Hilarious, I liked it even if I suppose not perfect but could this have been done better?

Thank you for sharing Antwerp Untappd Crew! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2017! Even the water was changed apparently in order to mimic Japanese water, brilliant & that name. Hazy orange, big creamy off-white head. Nose is massive fruit, sour peach, apricot, pickled stuff, rice vinegar funk, really unique & hard to describe. Taste is the same pickled sour peach funk apricot, rice vinegar flourish, so much stuff going on & hard to name, thick bodied, stone fruit, umeboshi I suppose? Really tasty, unique, drinks really well. Pretty brilliant.

Thank you for sharing Antwerp Untappd Crew! Sampled draft @ Swafff 2017! Black, little head. Nose is cheap cacao, mocha, umami, herbal, poor cacao. Taste is basic cacao, chocolate, too umami, licorice, sugar, too sweet,... Classical Irish Dry Stour profile, good in that aspect I suppose, Rum barrel is lost on me,... Body is cacao, mocha, powdery, umami,... Decent to solid for a dry stout but a BA Porter?

Bouteille 33cl de la Cave à Bières, Yverdon.BB 01/2017, batch#7. Brune foncée, col beige tenace Arôme aux effluves de malts tirant sur le chocolat, café avec une petite touche de vanille en rétro Note peu le côté Bourbon US Palais est malté, pâle, caramel, chocolaté petite douceur de vanille ajouter une balance avec l’effet houblonné plutôt noble UK Fin de bouche est sèche avec qcq notes de citronné et fleuri, note aussi une touche fine d’épice Même scénario ici, je note peu la présence de Bourbon, plus en approche de copeaux que de barrique

F: not big, white, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: malty, tangerine, passion fruits, tropical fruits, bit of citrus. T: malty backbone, tangerine, bit of orange, passion fruits, medium to full body, medium carbonation, very nice, enjoyed, sample @ SWAFFF Brussels Craft Beer Festival.

Bouteille 33cl de la Cave à Bières, Yverdon.BB 02/2018, batch#13. Trouble orange, col blanc-cassé. Arôme est malté, cara pâle, froment, note de pomme cara, banane ester avec pointe épicée. Houblonné reste assez discret - finement fruité. Palais sur du malté, levure typique offrant des notes d’esters - banane et un aspect un peu chewing gum. Girofle en épicé, touche de froment apportant un bonne rondeur avec une légère amertume de fin de bouche. Biscuité perce sur la fin. Dans la couleur, approche plus une Dunkel.
