Inspired by our childhood and family values, we have committed ourselves to this long and demanding journey. What drives us is the thrill to craft a local product with an international language, to put Lebanon on the map of best cider producers in the world for the first time in its history, and to find a lasting solution to the apple crisis at home. We’re slowly realizing the dream that started from a love for our land and apples, and building a community around WATA that loves terroir and craftsmanship: one we intend to nurture from our premises and beyond.

Bottle. It's a clear straw to pale golden colored cider, more or less still and sure headless. The aroma has a whiff of sulfur at first, but it's mostly fresh apple juice. Quite weak though. Grass, pear, plum, birch leave and a faint yeastyness. It's medium to thin bodied, softly carbonated and mostly on the dry side, with a light lemony sourness. Fresh apple juice and some grass and fruityness in the flavor, just as weak as the aroma. A quite dull one, but sort of refreshing. 221218

Bottle. Clear, very pale golden body under a small, immediately disappearing white head. Weak apple aroma with hint of yeast. Not very impressive in taste either, weak flavor, mild generic apple, medium sweet and some acidity. Medium to thin bodied and a bit yeasty aftertaste.
