Aroma of malt, toffee, grapefruit, hops. Flavour is malty and hoppy, light tart, with a moderate bitter finish. Nice Red Ale.

Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, brett funk, coffee, ripe red fruit. Flavour is moderate to medium sour. Wine-like. Nice experiment that paid off.

Aroma of roasted malts, lots of dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruit notes, hint of liquorice. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a lovely bitterness in the aftertaste. Tasty and quite easily drinkable.

Bottle kept for 6+ years in my "cellar". Pours a black colour and a light brown head that quickly recedes. Aroma's form the glass are sweetish, raisins/dried fruit, a bit oxidized, light umami. Retronasal it's sweetish, a bit smoky, bitterish, dark fudge. Flavour is just light sweet, a bit smoky,moderate roasty bitter. Medium bodied. Smooth mouthfeel. Finishes moderate bitter. Clearly somewhat old, but very enjoyable.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Coffee and hopjesvla in the aroma. Way too sweet flavor, malty and alcoholic. Blackcurrant and hopjesvla. Hints of roast and cappuccino. Sticky.

Bottle @ afterparty Borefts 2014. Amber color, hazy. caramel, citrus and grassy notes in the aroma. Tart, citric caramelly flavor with a grassy hopbitterness and red berries. Nice!

Bottle at home, somewhat past best before, ah well... Black beer, small head. Aroma is chocolate, malt, roasted. Taste is the same, somewhat sweet with chocolate bitterness.

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Slightly fruity hoppy and dusty yeasty spicy aroma, notes of apricot and overripe peach. Taste is dry, slightly fruity and peppery yeasty spicy, minimally dusty, hints of dried apricot, almost no remnant sweetness. So-so.
