Can from The Beerhive. Golden body with a light haze, a few specks of sediment and a small white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma pineapple, peach, caramel and orange. Flavour of honey, orange and sweet melon. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and hoppy. Pretty good and very easy to drink considering the strength.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Almost black with a reddish glow. Fairly strong, it has rich dark malts and a sweetness as well as a hint of liquorice.

Keg @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. Clear golden with a nice pale ale texture. It’s strongish tasting, but this hardly compromises its taste, which includes a good hoppiness and the ale is crisp.

Clear golden, white head. Light, sweet citrus in aroma and taste. Not a hell of a lot else though it’s drier and more bitter, a bit, in the aftertaste.

Can picked up from Beer Ritz online, consumed at home Thursday 20th April 2017 cooking Broccoli mega shell (pasta) with cheese (Gouda and a French cheese that I’ve forgotten the name of) Loz reckons Cabana, but I get the Bounty, lots of toasted coconut, chocolate (milk) and the vanilla and tonka beans really set this off, wonderful, creamy, marvellous beer. I am amazed that this is just 4.3%, I agree it could do with a little bit more body but it’s marvellous regardless. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Can picked up from Beer Ritz online shop, consumed at home Easter Saturday 15th April 2017 after a second hard day building a pond, now just finishing off cooking Lamb Shawarma. Pours hazy gold with a slim white head. Very fruit with a good zesty and lemony pithiness, zappy, crisp but with a good bittersweet linger, like it. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a creamy-smooth head. It’s a smooth hoppy ale that could be sessionable.
