An independent brewery founded in 1996 and employee owned since 2024, we like to think that we blend creativity and innovation with heritage and tradition, reflecting these values across our beers. Our house style could typically be described as pale and hoppy, but that’s not all we can do! As the beer world has evolved so have we, covering a wide range of styles and continually pushing the boundaries of what we can create.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 29th August 2026. Slightly hazy pale gold with dense white foam and spot lacing. Peel and tropical fruits in aroma. Pithy citrus in-mouth and finish. Light bodied with a smooth texture.

Half pint. Warm golden body, fair white head leaving spotty lacing on the glassware. Inviting smell of grassy hops, and cereal malts. Decent taste profile with leafy hops and grainy malts. Drying bittersweet finish. (Brighton, 26.08.2026).

Can. Dunno where from. Possibly Mitchell’s. Clear deep cola brown. Very decent beige foam. Looks well. Earthy ashy and vinous on the nose. Peppery hop. Taste has a flicker of sweetness but is mostly ashy and vinous dry and bitter. Drinks solid enough. Lingering vinous finish almost verges into sourness. Looks better than it drinks.

750ml bottle from HOTM. Gluten Free. Hazy reddish orange-amber colour, white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of soured fruits, apple, plum, currant, wood, oak, funk. Taste is tangy, soured, grainy, citric rind, tart fruity notes, appley, plummy, acetic funky, with some wood barrel, red wine notes, oaky tannin, vanilla and drying bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry funky tannic bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines I think. Hazed gold. Slim wispy white foam. Nice key lime pie notes. Squeezed fruit and vanilla. Taste is lightly tart and dry. Smidge of sweetness. Pretty refreshing. Fruity lime on the finish. Nice one.

440ml can from HOTM. Gluten Free. Black-brown colour, tan-brown foamy head and aroma of roast malt, ash, dark fruit, chocolate, coffee, earth. Taste is roasted malty, chocolate, coffee, liquorice, with ashy earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Light haze on a deep gold. Slim sticky just off white head. Nose has bitter orange. Bit of a marmalade thing. Sappy pine. Clean malts. Taste has some orange sweetness but is mostly sappy and pretty full on bitterness. Drinks nicely easy. I’m liking the bitter here. Juicy orange and sappy pine bitter finish. Nice one.

Cask at House of Hop, Darlington. Gluten Free. Yellowy gold colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, citrus, hops. Taste is sweet, malty, mellow fruit, citrus with some hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbobation, drying bitter finish. Quite drinkable.
