Can from Salt Horse. Murky amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of dried mango and cigarette butt. Flavour boozy Lilt (thanks to my sis for this one), spring onion and mango. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Not bad.

Can picked up from Bayleys of Bromsgrove, consumed at home Saturday 14th April 2018, whilst cooking Herby Spatchcock Chicken with crisp Chickpeas and Wild Garlic Labneh another meal from the April BBC Good Food Magazine. Light gold, almost dark straw in colour, slight haze, with a sticky white head. Nice bitterness and a good counter to the NEIPAs, this (I'm presuming) is more in the mould of a traditional IPA, a touch furry, bitter, dry, citrussy. Damn good. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Cask at Station House Spring Beer Festival 2018, Durham. Golden amber colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of tropical fruit, citrus & pine. Taste is malt caramel, grainy with grapefruit citrus, woody pine and resiny bitterness. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Handpull cask from the Nags Head, Reading. Light gold and clear with a small white head and a lots of lacing. Strong pithy grapefruit aroma with touches of cantaloupe and lemon. Taste is sweeter than I expected with the flavourful malt imparting an almost savoury note. It still hangs onto a tenacious bitterness to the finish. Strong citrus, melon and candy sugar notes in the long aftertaste. Starts good and finishes better. Brilliant.

Creamy white head on a hazy, still golden body. Hoppy aroma. Smooth & creamy on the palate. Bitter citrus, grapefruit & grape tastes. A solid beer.
