Description
Brasserie Sulauze is a brewery in the Provence. Organic beer is brewed in a 300-year-old sheepfold of the wine estate in Miramas, where the brewery is located. The two founders and brewers Guillaume David and Julien Gondard have taught themselves everything and aim to use the raw materials of the field. Think of barley, hops and wood for heating the boilers.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D's place. Thanks kerenmk. Murky brown with disgusting beige floaties. Nuts, coconut, caramel, a bit of chocolate, yeast, sweetish and a bit sourish.

Biere from Provence Region. 6 miesięcy w beczce z mikroflora bakteryjną zrobiło to niezła robotę.

Hazy pale amber, good frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Sourish nose, aroma grain, grass, lemon, apricot, woody notes. Taste medium sweet and light sour, citric and herbal notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste sweet and sourish, it seems that this blond has gone sour thus becoming a farmhouse ale.

4/3/2020. Bottle from Bières Cultes - Rue des Halles, Paris. Pours clear dark golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of light sour fruits and picked gherkin, cucumber, gooseberry, yeast and coriander. Big tart and sour taste, quite a head shaker. Moderate body, average carbonation. Tart finish, herbal, slightly salty edge. I didn’t not like it but wouldn’t want another one.

28.01.2015, 0,33l bottle shared with ClubGonzo & friends:
Big fizzy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet floral, yeast, banana, flowers, dried fruits, light malts, bark, sap, almond essence. Taste is slightly harsh floral, bark, wet hay, flowers, weeds, yeast, paper, light malts. Little bitterness, harsh watery mouthfeel. Meh!
