Description
Brasserie Sulauze is a brewery in the Provence. Organic beer is brewed in a 300-year-old sheepfold of the wine estate in Miramas, where the brewery is located. The two founders and brewers Guillaume David and Julien Gondard have taught themselves everything and aim to use the raw materials of the field. Think of barley, hops and wood for heating the boilers.

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Smell is creamy, bit lactic ( rather hidden ) mild maltyness. Medium low intensity. Taste is sharp, bitter , fruity ( citric, grapefruit, apples ) . No real lactic features in the taste. Not really the New England it was said to be, and frankly, not that great in general. Too much added fruits, bitterness, and slightly to high carbo, pulling this outa balance.

Sampled draft. Thanks! Hazy orange, little head. Nose is massive vinegar, hugely acidic, puckering vinegar, lemon,… Taste is pleasant vinegar, low paint, acidic, glue, chemical, almost green chilli, sadly didn’t get the tomato but nice massively sour gose. Definitely better than Gose’illa.

Thanks! Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Black, mocha head. Nose is massive extremely soy sauce, straight up teriyaki sauce, plastic & taste is sour vinegar, soy sauce, fish source oud bruin vinegar mix, actually not too terrible black sour but seeing as this was not supposed be a sour but an RIS, this is a pretty epical fail.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow, small white head. Aroma presents light zest, soft fruit. Taste is crisp, lightly floral, sour with subtle, though noticeable, physalis fruit that works well. Just a bit overly fizzy and a little thin.
