Description
Brasserie Sulauze is a brewery in the Provence. Organic beer is brewed in a 300-year-old sheepfold of the wine estate in Miramas, where the brewery is located. The two founders and brewers Guillaume David and Julien Gondard have taught themselves everything and aim to use the raw materials of the field. Think of barley, hops and wood for heating the boilers.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje & tderoeck! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Hazy orange, very creamy big tanned head. Nose is overly milky yeasty with milky bready rye & some odd chemical styled bitterness. Taste is far too watery, malty rye bread, sugar, herbal, little hop, far too watery. Poor watery rye bread is the overall impression which I get here so I am not a fan.

Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16 shared with 77ship and Tderoeck. Reste cependant correcte.

Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16 shared with 77ship and Tderoeck.

Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16 shared with 77ship and Tderoeck.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje & tderoeck! Sampled bottled @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. That name is wonderful. Hazy citrus golden with a few bubbles. Nose is sweet white berries, peach, poor yeasty, mineral, low chlorine. Taste is weird sweet with spoiled peach, sugar poorly chemical, vague choline, white sugar, sweat, overly yeasty, unpleasant yeast. Body is mineral, overly yeasty, yoghurt, milk. Not a success.

Very cloudy deep blond to orange beer, solid creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very floral, perfume-like, soapy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: soapy bitterness, unripe banana, floral, bit weird. Aftertaste: soapy, very bitter, yeasty, metallic, meh.

Clear orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, sweet, pretty sugary, artificial candy flavourings. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity, peach, sourish, citric acidity. Aftertaste: lactic acidity, sweet, sugary, some passion fruit. Not so convincing. But what a name! And what a label! Lovely stuff! :-D
