Van fles bij de brouwerij. Iets mistig diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Citroenschil, moutig, grassig, iets granig, bloemig, bitter, veel beter dan het Vollbier. Maar ook stevig overrated wat mij betreft. Lieberth, Knoblach, zelfs Griess en Roppelt zijn m.i. stukken beter.

Op tap bij de brouwerij. Heldergouden kleur, witte kraag. Medium zoet, moutig, licht grassig, hint van honing en appel, degelijk bitter, iets granig. Lichte body. Zwaar overrated, had eender welke lager kunnen zijn wat mij betreft.

0.5l bottle - ginormous thanks Ryan for sharing! Clear amber body, off-whtie head, looking fantastic. Malty, clean aroma, lightly floral and herbal. Malty taste as well, lightly caramelly, bit floral, herbal, ending dryish and bitter. Not nearly as wow-level as its siblings, but I'm so damn glad to have tried it!

Tap at the brewpub, four times. With VsXsV and the Grells, of course, kajser27 technically as well, hahah. Clear, full golden body, off-white head. Lovely floral, soft, malty, bit minerally aroma, mildly grainy. Soft, creamy, grainy malty body, delicious, sweetish backing the just about right herbal and floral hops well. The first glass was just vaguely soapy around the finish, but the rest were clear. This is a well made, very drinkable beer, that's not its hoppier brother, but stands its ground well! A classic!

Clear orange to gold blond beer, big solid creamy irregular white head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: pretty malty, grains, wort, cookies, sweet impression. MF: ok carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: nice, gentle malty start, good bitterness, more malts, a bit fruity, herbal touch. Aftertaste: herbal, nice malty backbone, grains, some hay, good bitterness, little dry in the finish, grassy touch, a bit of caramel, little fruity, nice one!

500 ml bottle. Clear golden with a very creamy fluffy head. Lots of grain, grass, hay, some metal, lemon zest, sourdough, salt. Zesty metallic bitterness, grainy sweetness, slight salty and sourish. Light bodied, oily watery texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty bready metallic bittersweet sour finish. A great rustic Helles, very soft, dangerously easy to drink!

0.5l bottle. Pours golden and unclear with a dense stable fluffy head. Elderflower, lemon zest, floral zesty hops, apricot, orange blossom, sourdough, bread, slightly metallic. Hoppy zesty bitterness, fruity sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty hoppy grassy floral bittersweet finish. Excellent Landbier, very well hopped, very floral, grassy and zesty. Tasty! Lives up its reputation.

Bottle at HopDog. Golden, slightly hazy. Cold, ripe, hay, summer, sulfur. Round, full body, chewy. Crisp and crunchy. Creamy. Good drinkability.
