[33cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell] A disappointingly flat looking hazy amber pour with just a ring of white head; unusual fruity aroma; tart, unfamiliar fruity taste, quite overpowering really, with a lingering bitterness that may come from the fruit, or from the hops. Rather odd.

Bottle from Waitrose. Cloudy amber, with a thin, off-white, head and trace of carbonation. Tropical fruits, sweet and flabby malts, thin hops and a gentle finish. So so.

Bottle at Jason & Tracey’s, 12/10/19. Hazed orange with a modest off white covering that dissipates to a small swirl. Nose is papaya, slightly sickly tropical fruits, cane sugar, prickly pear. Taste comprises sweet malts, light spice and herb, more sickly sugar notes, Irn Bru, dusty tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Poor effort ... sweetish ... sharp in places and disjointed overall ... drain poured the bulk.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Waitrose. Pours unclear gold with a bubbly white head. Has some sugary, candy-like citrus notes, pale bread, off-balanced grassy bitterness, lemon peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Harshly bitter finish, along with more oddly sugary citrus, mild astringency, pine. I don't use this word lightly, but this beer is *garbage*.

Keg at Hopsmiths. Resin hoppy, malty finish. Little bit of biscuit. Alright, but lacks something. Bit of caramel. It's alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Uprising Treason West Coast IPA (Keg & Can) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. [33cl bottle from Waitrose, Bracknell.] A bright amber pour with a ring of white head; peachy kernel aroma; sweet peachy taste with some biscuity malts; and a light spicy bitterness. Full bodied and satisfying.

Case Egham. Super boozy whisky aroma. Slightly cloudy chestnut. Frothy white head. Chewy light light bitter with all the flavour from the barrel. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Lovely stuff but not had the original and it seems to me that the barrel is overpowering the DIPA.
