Keg at the Bear (JDW), Maidenhead. Amber with a tight cream head; mandarin aroma; crisp hoppy taste over a sweet orangey body with an oily texture; and a lingering fruity finish that drifts from mandarin to pineapple. Rather good.

Keg at Union Tavern, Westbourne Park, London, Friday 6th March 2015 Slightly hazy, mid amber, a little safe, mid bitterness. It’s a pleasant drop but not a patch on Loz’s Beavertown Bloody ’Ell. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Keg at W&E brewery, 19/11/14. Clear golden amber with a decent light beige covering. Nose is juicy hops, light pine, mango, citric pith, pineapple. Taste comprises juicy citric peel, hoppy licks, light berry fruit, mango, citric sherbet, pine essence. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent IPA, maybe a bit light on the ABV to claim to be a genuine west coaster but packs some flavour, good balance, easy crushing juice.
