La idea surge de una ilusión por crear una cerveza de gran calidad, para maridar con una gran cantidad de platos y aperitivos y que recordara de alguna manera el valle donde nació, Sóller.
Esta inquietud llevó a Guillem Coll a indagar en este sector y comenzar el año 2008 a producir a pequeña escala para consumo propio. Su entusiasmo y, sobre todo, el resultado obtenido, llevaron a su mujer Mª Bel Rotger a animarlo a compartir esa cerveza tan especial, diferente y que tanto éxito tenía entre amigos y familiares.
El resultado, cerveza con azahar.
Una cerveza con tanto del valle de los naranjos no se podía llamar de otro modo…

Bottle at Alcuida hotel, mallorca picked up from Sante Anna Last night of holiday. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a a decent white head. Aroma is grassy hop, sileage, dirty herbal, little dung, wheaty grains. Flavour is composed of soft wheat grains, spicy hop, coriander seeds, orange rind, light chalk. Palate is crisp, chalky, fine carbonation. Not bad.

Bottle at Cerverseria Santa Anna. A hazed deep reddy amber coloured pour with a a halo of beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, jammy orange, marmelade, tangy, floral notes, floral orange, earthy bread. Flavour is composed of semi sweet orange rind, grass, citrus, nutty malts. Hint of toffee,. Palate is mineral, crisp, highish carbonation. Good stuff.

Bottle at Cerverseria Santa Anna. A dark cola brown coloured pour with a a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, rustic woody malts, liquorice, bark, earth. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, thin earthy dirty grains, robust roast, bark, liquorice,, little thin. Mineral. Palate is crisp, dark dry roast, highish carbonation.

330ml bottle bought at the brewery in Sóller. Carried back home and shared at a summer rating session with Finn. A bubbly, fawn-coloured head over an all back body, fair lacing. Promising aromas of cocoa, dark bread, and liquorice, nicely roasted. Malt-driven taste of cocoa-caramel, liquorice, and distant notes of dark fruits. Roasted dark malty ending. Well bodied, but pretty easy to drink. A nice one. (Tromsø, 31.07.2023).
