Description
When we started this company, our goal was to keep it as straightforward as possible: to craft flavors and experiences that the people of Maine hadn’t had before, and serve them as fresh as possible. Over the years, as the business has grown, we are now able to share our beers with people in other areas – regionally, nationally, and internationally – but Maine always comes first. We strive to take care of those things closest to us, and let that radiate outward: our staff, our processes for making beer, our tap rooms and loyal customers, and the surrounding communities that support us. Everything we do is in support of these things, we are nothing without them.

16 oz. can in a trade with Willrunforbeer, thanks! Deep murky brown with lasting tan head. Aroma has light chocolate, roasted nuts and a bright earthy hop.
Flavor is just as it smells with a nice earthy lingering pine to balance the sweet chocolate and nuts. Just a light touch of citrus. It’s reminds me of a heart, highly hopped brown ale with some nice lingering bitterness after the sip. Body is on the lean side but it works.

16 oz. can thanks to Willrunforbeer in a recent trade. Aroma is what I look for in a DIPA. Light tropical fruit, light dank weed, light scallions.
Body has a nice sweet malt body to balance the huge hop character. Candied mango, juicy grapefruit and a mild lingering dank grass note. Bitterness is large but not completely overwhelming like some other lesser DIPA’s can do. No palate fatigue with this bad boy. Bold yet a level of smoothness. Mild citrus rind with some fresher cut grassy note after the sip. Damn, Bissell is killing it with these recipes lately. Looks like another trip to Portland is in order soon. Finely crafted.

16 oz can thanks to Willrunforbeer gifted at a recent tasting. Hazy bright golden put with a wonderful aroma. Tropical fruit, light grass and a healthy dose of grapefruit.
The flavor is just as enjoyable as the aroma. Grapefruit pulp, light grain base, mild grass with another blast of grapefruit citrus in the finish. Ends clean with a wonderful freshness. The bitterness is counter balanced by the juicy citrus. Refreshing and just plain fantastic.

In the can @ home. Thanks to Luke and Josh for sending! Pours a murky bright yellow appearance with a white head. Soft bready, light citrus hoppy nose with some lemon, grapefruit, and pineapple. Carbonation seems a bit low. Cracker / doughy malts, grassy / herbal and citrusy hops in the flavor. Light bodied. Dry. A little bit of a bitter bite on the finish. Super chuggable. Good beer.
