Can. Sbwf 2018. Poured golden color with a thick white head. Resiny sweet, hoppy aroma. Flavor has citrusy hops, caramel, hops and resin. Lovely.

A deep dark imperial porter with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, beautiful sweet fruity malt with loads dark fruits, plums, bourbon barrel, alcohol warmth, very rich. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of vanilla, bourbon barrel notes, woody notes, alcohol warmth, dark fruits, very nice and complex. On tap at Rattle N Hum East.

Can, from City Hops. Pours cloudy golden with large foamy off-white head, citrus aroma, adequate carbonation, mildly bitter citrus taste, smooth body, long citrusy finish. Smooth and easy to drink, well covered alcohol content.

Three Weavers Postcolonial/Friendship Brut IPA 8.6% This is quite possibly my first brut ipa. Fairly clear straw gold in color with a thick dense white head and a fruity, peppery hay like aroma. Full bodied with lots of stone fruit and mild funk elements. This is actually quite a tasty brew but much fuller bodied and fruitier than I expected. There’s lots of stone fruit and rich plum like fruitiness, thick malt character well balanced and overall a tasty brew. I don’t get anything so unique from it I’d call it a separate style but it is good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Dogenzaka Shinanoya. Pours darker orange, finger width of white foam on top. Looks solid. Quite dank hoppy nose, nobody is being stingy here, fresh and herbal-grassy with a note of fruits. Taste is also hoppy bit not overly bitter, more like tingling with light lupulin dust, some fruity base there as well, so not entirely hop-based. Well balanced and drinks easy, flavourful for a pale ale.

Tap. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, fresh aromatic roast. Taste is coffee, earthy, cocoa powder. Silky mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Very good!
