Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Light haze. Nose - mango and guava. Canned peach. Taste - more canned peach. Sweaty guava edge to it. Palate - medium bodied, creamy yet tangy. Not as clean on the finish as expected but good linger. Overall - enjoyed this.

Willebecher draft at the Three Weavers Brewing Company in Inglewood, California. The pour is a hazed golden with a small white head. The aroma is floral, citrus and resin hops. The taste is the floral, citrus and softly bitter resin, along with some hop cattiness. The palate is light bodied with soft carbonation and the softly bitter resin finish. Easy drinking Session IPA.

Can. Pale gold with a white head. 3+Crackery aroma with lots of citrus - grapefruit and lemon - some tropical fruit. Fairly light bodied, slightly creamy. Moderate carbonation is just where I like it. Malt is firm, somewhere between crackers and bread and barely sweet. The hops have some tropical and pine touches but mainly around citrus. Fairly high bitterness. Nothing particularly unusual just very good.

From a 355ml can on 17/6/2018 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a clear medium golden with a biggish foamy white heat. The nose features light caramel and some fruit. The flavour features some caramel malt, some sweet citrus followed by a slightly sour, firmish bitterness. The texture is slightly syrupy and the carbonation moderate. Just ok for mine, but below par for the style.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Mixed aroma - lemon seems dominant, but ginger burns lightly. Med body. It is tart! More so than the sun trap I think. Goes lemon, ginger, wheat/malt/bready?/salt. Wow. It is a mouthful. Ginger tends to moderate the lemon. Not exactly dry, but not at all sweet. Sweet/tart? Arguable. Interesting and tasty stuff.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours dark chocolate brown with a beige head that’s creamy. Aroma of chocolate and roasty/toasty malts. Med body. Flavor is moderate chocolate, roasty/toasty malt, and a flavor lurking in the background that makes me think herbaceous. Clearly a schwarzbier.

Tap at the taproom. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Med body. Flavor is somewhat earthy with hints of clove and some various fruits. Fairly dry. Bitter, but the hops are too mixed to parse. I think it nails the style. Tastes good.

Tap at the taproom. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Lemon aroma. Med body. Flavor is lemon with a touch of salt. There’s some malt which is subdued by the lemon. It’s mildly tart, mildly salty, pretty dry. Bitter’s not an appropriate consideration here. Lemon/tart/salty is what it is.

Tap at the taproom. Pours chocolate brown with a dusty aspect; creamy, persistent tan head. Med body; smooth, not slick. Flavor is chocolate, somewhat sweet dark malt. Not getting coffee, tho there’s a bitterness that suggests it. Fairly dry. Moderately bitter. Pretty good stuff.
