12 oz. can from HEB in Boerne, TX. Pours a hazy gold color with a white head and good retention. Good lacing. Floral malt aroma. The flavor is hoppier than I expected. Tastes more like a light pale ale. Sharp pilsner malt mouthfeel and a dry finish. Medium body. High carbonation. Medium bitterness. A good pilsner, but a little too bitter for my palate.

I’d buy this beer for the name on its own. Pint can bought at the closest we have to a beer shop locally, the label indicates an abv of 8.2%. Lift into my Cowtown snifter to determine a semi-transparent amber-gold body completed with a bare skim of solidly white foam. A decent scent containing hops, tropical and grain. The drink is curiously all right, I will say that. Oranges to a degree, grapefruit, papaya, varnish, pine and dry crackers. New England crashes into West Coast. The taste mostly keeps up with the name

Can from Total Wine in Vacaville, CA. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is citrus/flora with a passing armpit note. Med body. Dry and moderately bitter. Floral, resin, maybe a bit of citrus and melon. Mildly roasty malt support. Mild.
