Strangeways. Always a unique tap list. Clear, classy amber, frothy pour. Lysol, pine, heavy herbal on some slightly sweet onion. Herbal hops, kinda dry, Lysol, red onion, weak carb, crusty baguette & a touch of lingering dried fruit on the finish that keeps my attention. Okay.

Paperback Tucked in by Strangers 6.5% West Coast IPA 6.5% Nice golden color with dense foam. Sweet malt and pine aroma. Medium to full bodied. Really well balanced with a citrusy tang.

Paperback The Cup Football Lager 4.5% Pale straw gold with bright white fast vanishing foam. Crackery sweet pale malt aroma, medium bodied with a fairly crisp dry finish. It feels like a craft take on a classic macro lager with more depth of flavor. Not much hops beyond some mild herbal notes it a giving nice bite. Solid.

Paperback Attack of the Space Cats Hazy IPA 6.6% Bought as I thought the name was funny plus it was on sale. Hazy gold with dense white foam that leaves a film of lacing behind. Not as juicy as that knee deep Whitney beer, this is more juicy like with sweet tarts in the bouquet. Quite full bodied with a raspy mouthfeel, the taste is earthy lime and juicy hops. Semi-dry raspy finish with a touch of chewy malts. Not as nice as the knee deep but probably nowhere near as fresh either. Cool label/name though.

US pint can, drank on 9th July 2023 at my daughters place in Laguna Hills. Clean and clear pour, golden in colour, small white crown on top. Malty front in the nose and taste, very little hop action. Nice, easy drinking Maibock.

Rock-It Bar, Whole Foods, Laguna Niguel. Part of a four beer flight (5 oz pours) on 10th July 2023. Clear golden body, white crown. Citrusy front to the fruity aroma and taste, a more bitter, piney element arrives mid-sip. Decent!
