Description
A farm brewery in Caledon, Ontario. Troy Baxter, Mike Nuttall and Grace Wilkinson make hoppy, hazy ales in small batches that sell out as fast as they can make them. We specialize in IPA, but we also have a deep affinity for farmhouse ales, crispy lagers and mixed fermentation sours.
We used to brew on a small, inefficient 100ish liter brew house in an old retrofitted calf barn. It was a lot of work, but it's all we could afford to get this thing started without investors. Now we mostly brew on a bigger, sort of more efficient brewery.
Since day one we have believed in the same fundamentals: quality and freshness above all else. Our mission is to get our beer to your mouth when it's at it's best!

473ml can. Murky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Relatively weak, citrusy fruity, minimally leafy and grassy, hoppy aroma, oaty malty background, hints of lemon, lemon peel, grassy-spicy overtones. Taste is moderately bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, creamy, oaty malty basis, restricted notes of lemon, lemon peel, a touch of white grapes, unripe kiwi fruit, lime. Creamy-oily texture, smooth and soft, minimally chewy, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Passably multifaceted, but relatively weak hop flavours, well crafted - pleasant.

Can: Poured a clear golden color lager with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with some residual sugar notes and faint vegetable ester. Taste is a mix of cereal notes with more residual sugar than I like in the style with some vegetable notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. A bit off for me but still somewhat enjoyable.

(473ml can shared by Herbalist, thanks!) Pours very hazy yellow-gold with a thick stable head and lace. Aroma is rich in stone fruit, sweet orange, accents of softer notes like floral melon and papaya, nice hits of dank cannabis and floral citrus, softly bready retiring malt. Flavour is off-dry, a nice mix of juicy sweet peach and orange with floral, white wine-like tones, papaya/melon, some herbal/grassy brightness, light citrus oil, slight sweet honeyed character to the malt boosts it before a drying, fairly crisp finish with nice peach flesh, orange peels, papaya and leafy accents, a little hop burn at the end but nothing too intense. Medium-full body, soft carbonation, slick to creamy. Really good DIPA for my first experience with Peacherine, the first of many I assume.

(473ml can shared by Herbalist, thanks!) Pours near-opaque dull gold with a thick white head and good lace. Aroma is semi-sweet, ripe dank mango, white grape, creamy floral tropical fruit, touches of melon, nice bright leafy edge with just a little onion, fragrant citrus zest, great nose. Flavour is quite dry in comparison to the nose, white grape, peach, orange and grapefruit pulp, melon, dank sticky mango minus sugar, soft bready malt, lots of grapefruit peel and soft green onion build into the finish with light to moderate bitterness and real sticky peppery resins for a Badlands beer. Light hop burn in the aftertaste. Light to medium body, fairly creamy, soft carbonation. Very solid dry refreshing IPA with a bite.
