Draught @ Biere a Lille 2025. Pours dark, tan head. Light hop hints on the nose, some coal. Flavour profile brings nice nectaron shades adding welcome lingering citrus to soft roast malt. Great BIPA in probably the coldest beer festival I've ever been to.

Gushing to huge, dense yellowish head and very carbonated orangeish golden beer, textbook lacerings. Huge head hampers aromas. Fruity, grapey, citrus, smells... sticky if that does make sense. Bitterish and fruity. Fruitskins, cucumber, citrus. Sweetness suggested in the nose, almost absent. Quite watery sensation, not helped by the overcarbonation. OK. Txs to Stef!

Bottle at the air bnb in Bruxelles, thanks to the Wingman, 20/02/24. Light black with a good sized lasting beige head. Nose is dark malts, earthy roast, charr, ashen nip, dried fruits. Taste comprises cocoa dusting, charr, dried fruit tang, bitter edge, spice, light pine, bramble berries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Tidy enough CDA.

Bottle shared at Bruxelles flat air bnb. A clear chestnut brown coloured pour with a beige head. Aroma is sappy pine, resin. Chestnut resin. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty tarmac, singed pine, resin,. Palate is chalky, mineral, highish carbonation. Xolid, earthy bipa.

Huge, dense, just lightly yellowish head over clear copperish-golden beer. Corn, cornflakes, other grain adjuncts. Corn, bitter hops, leafy, faintly earthy. Indifferent bitterness. Quite slick, bit sticky, coating film on the tongue. Soft carbonation, "crisp". Oh please. This is on par with industrial pale lager, and not even the better. Txs to Stef!

Bit fluffy, amberish tinted head over fully hazy copper-amber beer with a mossy sheen. Sweetish, rosewater, amandine, faint wafts of almost rotting waterweeds/algae. Sweetish, again this perfumey rosewater - indeed often in Japanese beers. Leafy bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite slick, bit viscous, almost sticky. Light to medium bodied. Bit weird... more PA than IPA. Txs to Stef!

Good off-white head with glass-sticking bubbles in old golden, clear beer. Herbal nose, dry spicy grains, but also a tad dusty. Weeds, nettles. Malty flavour with still a bit spices & herbs, but quite sweet, lots of restsugars. Finish has a slight metallic bitterness that is not nice. Light body, quite (grist)slick, soft carbonation. OK. Txs to Stef!

Small yellowish rim over veiled ochre-amber beer. Strange, slightly acidic nose, green fruit and white chocolate. Hint of caramel. Acidity less relevant in the mouth, if still present. Again specifically white chocolate. Again some toasted caramel. Medium bodied, light alcoholwarming (?), slick, oily feel. Quite OK, not really special.
