Light haze on this amber beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable carbonation. Light dry malts, sweetish. Light milky sweet diacetyl. Modest orange and orange peel hops. Sweet floralness. Citric peel bitterness on the finish. That’s four of the last five Polish IPAs with this milky sweet diacetyl thing.

Przy nalewaniu piana nawet się nie wytworzyła. Aromat intensywny, na pierwszym planie czekolada i torfowa wędzonka, w tle orzechy. W smaku jest jeszcze lepiej. Bardzo czekoladowe, z wędzonym finiszem. Gdzieś przy okazji majaczą orzechy oraz kawa. Całość niezwykle pełne w odbiorze. Alkohol wyczuwalny, ale nie przeszkadza. Przyjemnie rozgrzewa przełyk. Wysycenie niskie do średniego. Bardzo przyjemne piwo, które mimo potencjalnej jednowymiarowości wcale takie nie jest.

Bottle @ DØE Tasting. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, spice, pepper, wood, light smoke, some sweetness, fruit. Flavor is sweet, light spicy, malt, black pepper, wood, light smoke. Medium body, average carbonation, light spiced finish. Messy. 150317

Butelka 330ml (BB 17.01.2018). Intensywnie torfowe ale bez przegiecia, pelne w odczuciu z lekkim alkoholowo-goryczkowym pieczeniem w przelyku i przyjemnym, dlugim czekoladowo-asfaltowym finiszem. Piwo jest bardzo gladkie, leciutko slodkawe, zdecydowanie do dlugiej degustacji i dorownuje wersji pierwotnej choc nie robi juz takiego wow jak kiedys.

12-03-17 // bottle shared at home, from a trade (Euro Local Swap 01/17) with sklezpiwempl, thanks! Murky, muddy brownish beer. Taste is alcoholic, peppery. Taste is strong, with alcoholic notes, spicy pepper, light fruit aroma of cherries. Light smoky notes, along some oak and wood.

Botella @Alt strasse, Gijon. 08/03/17. BBD:16/03/17 Color amabrino con cabeza de espuma blanca, aroma inicial a lupulo, (frutas) seguido de notas maltosas y caramelo, sabor maltoso, con notas caramelo y frutales, cuerpo ligero con un final amargo y seco.

Bright clear amber beer, very small cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Light smooth malts, some cream and caramel. Dried fruits and a little winey fruit. Alcohol spice. Trace of brett. Light finish. Not got bags of depth but it’s quite a drinkable fun barleywine.
