Bottle at a tasting. Full bodied, oily texture, low carbonation. Lots of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, alcohol poking out too in medium-low intensity. Hints of astringency as well. Not bad, but not exactly rounded nor complex. Lots of space for improvement.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Coffee, liquorice, aniseed and plain chocolate in the aroma. Liquorice, coffee, cocoa and some slightly earthy notes feature in the taste whilst some aniseed can be detected in the finish.

Bottle at a tasting. Very good beer. Manages to get all the components of sweet stout right. Well attenuated, yet slightly sweetish in a milky way. Assertive roastiness from the black malts though. Rather roasty bitter, enjoyable.

Bottle, from Jashiu as part of Euro local swap, many thanks. Dark brown color with small beige head. Strong coffee aroma wth chocolate, vanilla. Taste, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, notes of licorice, caramel. Very good.

PIANA: biała z nalotem żółtawym, średnia, drobno pęcherzykowa, szybko opada. SMAK: wytrawne, zbożowo-cytrusowe z ziołowo-trawiastą goryczką. Lekkie, orzeźwiające, średnie wysycenie. Przeciętna APA.

0,5l bottle at home. BB 31.01.2017. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of ash, peat, bit earthy, leathery, some caramel, nice smell overall. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of cigarette ash, earthy notes, whiskey notes, some peat, charcoal, hints of caramel. finishes quite dry and ashy with notes of cigarette ash, charcoal and some peat. alright beer, but quite unbalanced, very very ashy, rather strong on the whiskey too. Not what I consider a smoked beer.

Barwa ciemnobursztynowa, zamglone, piana w kolorze ecru, średnioobfita, umiarkowanie trwała. W aromacie cytrusy, nieco owoców tropikalnych i iglaków. W smaku niezbyt słodkie jak na Red IPA, jest trochę karmelowości, ale nie jakoś szczególnie dużo, cytrusy, owoce tropikalne, nieco lasu. Goryczka średnia,dość długa, ale przyjemna, wysycenie w normie, ciało też, dobrze się pije. Bardzo dobre piwo, wyważone, można powiedzieć - klasyczne. Warto spróbować.
