Bottle obtained in a trade. Pours black , very small head. Smell is roasty, rather sweet. Some oats. taste is rather bitter, some oat. Sweet aspects, that are by far not bad, but seems Weird to the style ( this type of sweetness, i assume it’s of dark sugar ) not bad at all, i’d drink it if it were local, but not something to seek out in specific. 50cl bottle from Centrala Piwna in Poznan, pours a thickish dark brown/black with some lacing, creamy, off white head. Nose has soap and pine, toast, dried citrus peel, molasses, grain. Flavor has some soap and pine bitterness, burnt toast, the sweetness is a bit too amped up with molasses and licorice, cola too. Finishes a bit sweet. Dry this out a bit and it could be very good.

50cl bottle at Piwna Stopa pours a watery but dark black with some creamy, off white head. Nose is inviting, malt, toast, molasses, mild pepper, rye is present. Flavor is sweet with malt and molasses, chewy grains and bread, some licorice, molasses chews, mild pepper. Finishes dry. Drinks like 4%, in a good way.

Black color, small head, whatever there is disappears quickly. The aroma reveals a Black IPA, it’s roasty and hoppy, pungent. Roasted and coffeish flavor, dark bread, rye, and reasonable bitterness; a bit undercarbonated, but nice.

Bottle - Dark kinda Woody and earthy, dirty and mushroom notes. Dirty brown with a small head. Tastes as it smells. Earthy mess.

500mL bottle, pours black with a light reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma is quite sharp, with bitter coffee, roasted malt, and strange earthy hops. Flavour is very earthy, with lots of coffee bitterness, earthy hops, and bitter cocoa. Lots of sharp astringency in here. Not very convincing, but maybe seems stale / old. Okay.

Medium brown. No head. This has a mellow dark malt character with a fair bit of berryish hop. On the palate, this is quite light. Has a light bitterness, some hop fruitiness, and honestly there’s little in the way of malts. Maybe some chocolate.

At the great Polish beertasting. Thnx to Stefaan. Pours unclear amber, not much head. Smell is weak,bit bitter. Taste is bitter, green hops, vey buttery, very low carbo, silky, bit sticky mouthfeel. Ok, but missed hoppyness, and is nearly completely flat.

Tap at Zil verne. Lots of citrusy zesty fruity hoppiness, also resiny and lightly grassy. Juicy and relatively complex. Lightly tart and light high bitterness. Maltiness in background. Easy drinking despite the strength. Good one.
