Description
For the better part of a decade we have been dreaming and doing. North Hero Hops & Agriculture is coming into its 11th season while our brewery, Kraemer & Kin is moving into it’s 4th year in 2023. It's been a wild and hard hustling few years. A few broad strokes of our trajectory; we launched in 2020 out of Levi & Christie’s 20x30 garage. The garage was a small but quite the kickass little brewery nuculator space. In early 2022 we dismantled our little garage brewery engine and moved the whole operation further north to the basement of the Alburg Golf Links clubhouse. Additionally, we took over clubhouse operations and morphed the space into our taproom/brewhouse/restaurant, exciting stuff! In the expansion of our operations to the Alburg Golf Links we have gained a stunning public space that overlooks a western facing bay on Lake Champlain bay. Its the kind of view that encourages you to relax and stay awhile.

16oz can pours a murky brown, creamy off white head. Nose has a lot of esters and sugar that took time to blow off. Treacle and sweet tea, soggy bread and nuts. Flavor has cream soda and treacle, light malt. Feels flabby. Off dry, bordering on sweet.

Can from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Hazy yellow, tons of sparkle, fizzy, ephemeral head and no lacing. Aroma is strong wheat, hint of banana, bubblegum and clove (all different sniffs), tart fruit. Taste is strong wheat over bubblegum and clove. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with lingering dryness and mild bitterness. Quality hefe.

Can (3/10/25) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Opaque dark brown, light sparkle, lots of light floaties, thin head with fair retention and soapy lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, coffee, pine, hints of dark chocolate. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and roasted bitter finish. Good strength to aroma and taste. Rich, roasted goodness but hops are a little underrepresented.

16 oz can. Aroma is wheat and mild basil. Flavor shows a good amount of wheat backbone, and the basil is not overdone. Maybe a little bit of hint of lemon in here also. Medium body and somewhat of a crisp texture.
Pretty good.
