Poured from a can into a snifter glass

Pours a deep brown black with a finger of foamy tan head that settles to a tight ring leaving some sticky lacing

Aromas of rich sweet to burnt caramel, roast coffee, dark cocoa hints at a smokiness.

Taste is less sweet than anticipated, roasted malt, caramel coffee and rich dark chocolate.

Super smooth mouth feel, medium body with a medium light carbonation, an excellent sipper that is rich without being cloying.

Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a three finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts, light coffee tones, sweet earthy character and a little bit of cocoa powder
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet quality with a semi-earthy toned malt driven tone underneath; finishes dry with sone roasty and cocoa notes
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable? Yeah, I think this one is. Then some smoothness along the tongue with a touch of dryness
Overall: a very nicely done oatmeal stout I would welcome again.

Aroma: sweet coffee, dark coffee, earthy coffee, roasty tones, cocoa powder, baker's chocolate, dark chocolate and a little bit of sweet wafer malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet and a light earthy bitter quality; finishes leaning into the sweet tones of coffee, cocoa and those wafer-y malts
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; good smoothness and a little bit of roasty clingy-ness on the tongue
Overall: nicely done impy stout very worthy of returning to.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: pale yellow/cardboard orange cloudiness with a two finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate then leave some light lace
Aroma: white grapes, dark berries, slight lemon to subtle orange hop notes with a sly clean maltiness underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine juicy bitter vibe to a fair bittersweet berry character; finishes with the dark berries & white grapes
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, light smoothness, some hop grip but nothing overdone
Overall: for the most part, a pleasant NEIPA worthy of coming back to.

16 oz can. Aroma is weak lemon, with pine and soft malt. Flavor does show some lemon and lime, but a strong presence of pine and pine resin. A bit much resin. West Coast style IPAs have been back in fashion recently. This is WAY more West Coast then NE IPA. Not something I reach for often.
