Not bad, thankfully not a opaque sludge, drinkable with tropical and citrus notes and a modest pine bitterness on the back end. Decent hotel bar IPA.

This beer is a slightly hazy bright straw-gold color with a thick foamy white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Sticky strings of lace. Floral hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of floral hop, tropical and citrus fruits, and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Gosh damn, Armageddon in SC right now. F’ ing crazy hurricane damage. 12 oz can. from the local Lowes grocery, Greer, SC. Aroma of bold coffee and soft vanilla. Flavor is the same with a soft grain backbone. Smooth texture and not to sweet. Very pleasant to drink for any coffee enthusiast. Nice!

Crisp, deep copper and strong bronze coloured body with a large, three to four centimetre tall off-white and tan head, very soapy that sits on top nicely. Aroma of soap, grass, flowers, pine, resin and a slight nuttiness shows strong up front with some earthy malts and rustic qualities near the end of the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong and pungent earthy, nutty and very floral without any real tropically notes, nor any real fruitiness at all - some caramel and toffee comes through of course, but the alcohol and especially the malts reign supreme here. Aftertaste is deep, pungent and super nutty, with the herbal and especially the caramelised sugars are strong and don't show any compromise. Overall, a deep and robust old school IPA with a lot of bitterness, but more richness, caramel and nutty flavours than anything else. Nice to try, but not tropically and definitely not fruity, this is super old school and not really great at that. Still nice enough to try from down South, but not really worth the space in my car and definitely not worth a space in checked luggage should you go that route. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Lowe's Foods in Pawley's Island, South Carolina on 01-January-2022 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington on 23-February-2022.
