Sample courtesy of Cheeseboard, cheers Simon! Orange golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of apple, fruit, wood, funk. Taste is sweetish, appley, juicy, fruity, caramel, slightly tart, with orchard floor, leather, farmyard funky and some bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, low soft carbonation, drying tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

750 ml bottle from Darts Farm, Topsham. Pours deep oraange with off white dissipating bubbles. Bittersweet apple, caramel, some toffee apple notes. Smidge of funk. Low tannins. Dry finish. Medium body with low carbonation. Nice drop.

Panda thanks to Ed. A clear deep orange amber coloured pour with a small bubbles on the edge. Aroma is sticky apple pud,caramel, light tangy pineapple, brown sugar coating, Mellow farmyard funk, dung on the nose aswell. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bug farmyard funk, dungy, tangy apple, lemon twist, caramel. Palate is semi sweet, tang, light prickly. mellow carbonation. Nice funky farmyard cider.

1L plastic bottle from Greendale Farm shop, Exeter. Clear orangey gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, sharp funk. Taste is sweetish, fruity, apple, with orchardy funk, leather, wood, earthy, some tartness and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry tangy tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

31/8/2023. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear dark golden copper with a few small bubbles. Aroma is funky apple, caramel, petrol, varnish, wood. Moderate sweetness and bitterness, slight tart edge. Medium body, low carbonation. Woody, dry, tannic finish. Developed very nicely.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 29/07/23. Amber to copper pour with little in the way of a head. Nose is ripe apples, caramel, sugars, tannins, light orchard wood. Taste comprises tangy apples, vinous, oak, funk, farmyard esters, orchard wood, light sugar dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent earthy farm house type affair.

Taste is tangy, tart, apple, fruity, acetic funky, with wood, leather, orchard floor, and drying earthy bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
