Deep amber to red, a significant amount of haziness. Low to medium sized head, the slightest off-white, ok retention and a bit of lacing. Average intensity in a not very defined/polished aroma: sweet maltiness with some caramel and a touch of puff pastry, sweet/candied orange notes with perhaps some citric hints in the back, possibly a hint of spiciness and grassiness. Taste notes more or less follow the aroma. Again: average to good intensity but so-so definition. Definitely a bit of spiciness, but can't pick something specific. Some herbal/grassy bitterness on the back things, not too timid but still not fully balancing a pretty sweet overall feeling, in both taste and aftertaste. Fruity notes feel pleasantly fresh, but the main issue is with a not too clean overall profile. Medium to dense bodied, average carbonation; feels a bit thick, which doesn't work entirely with it's taste profile i think; a bit more more carbonation could maybe have helped. Overall: not at all bad tastewise, but far from accomplished in many other aspects.

Pours deep amber with reddish hints, a bit hazy. Gets a medium sized head, the slighest off-white, good enough persistence and not much lacing. Quite good intensity and nice depth in the aroma: a quite strong caramel base with a biscuity note as a plus, the slightest vinous hint, fruity notes of candied orange with lighter stone fruit hints. Feels quite vivid in taste too: notes more or less as per aroma (though i can't get the vinous component now), maybe with just a hint of herbal notes to bring a bit of freshness. A pretty sweet beer in the overall balance, both in taste and aftertaste: a clean and decently deep, far from unpleasant sweetness, but it can get a bit annoying when drinking a full bottle. Good taste definition in a nicely clean taste profile. Medium body, medium to high carbonation; a decent easy drinker for the abv with just a hint of creamy fullness. Overall: labeled as a biere de garde by the brewery, but very loosely one. Anyways, a well made, slightly old-style, more or less belgian ale.

Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi e frutta secca.

Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma color avorio dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il piano sottostante è di apparenza velata. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, frutta secca, pepe, spezie e agrumi.

La grandezza delle bollicine è fine. Il liquido si presenta opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è normale. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato arrivavano note di miele, crosta di pane, frumento, frutta secca e agrumi.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per il fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è molto elevata punto la continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni vocali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Il tetto della bocca riconosce sentori di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, luppolo, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi, arancia, vino bianco e frutta passita.
