Bottle @ Thomas A visit, Oluf Bagers Gade, Odense. Pours Black with a small White head. Roasted nose and flavor. Charcoal, burnt malts, Smoke and burnt pizza crust. Bitter Roasted finish.

Bottle @ Thomas Appel Visits, Oluf Bagers Gade. Thanks. Pours Amber copper with a creamy White head. Sweet malty aroma of dried fruit, vanilla and Caramel. Some yeast. Berries hop flavor. Warming alcohol. Quite unrefined.

0.33l bottle from hieber's. pours almost black with a deep beige head, poor retention. mild aroma of bourbon vanilla, roasted malts, dried fruits. flavour of raisins, chocolate, sourish coffee, liquorice. quite vinous.

0.33l bottle from hieber's. pours a hazy deep amber with a big frothy head. aroma of sour fruity hops, passion fruit, mango, caramel, resin. flavour of resin, wood, orange and pineapple jam, coconut. long bitter finish, mild sweetness. could just as well be an iipa. nice.

Aroma is syrup and dark chocolate some phenolic wood flavours. Taste is intense sweet syrup and honey. Too much and too phenolic.
