Bottle, courtesy of Mister_Li. Pours amber. Aroma is strong malts, diabetes. Body is heavy and strong, quite boozy, close to a barley wine. Lively carbonation. Hoppy, actually. Good.

Bottle from Vormann Brauerei. Fresh roasted and slightly smoky nose. The beer starts fresh and slightly sourish. Smoky hints, very dry with lots of burned grain. Sourish smoky back, sessionable and refreshing.

Bottle, expired a few months but must have been well stored. Clear red amber of you don't pour the sediment. Massive fine head. Tropical aromas, first flavor I got was fruity molasses baked beans, no kidding. Unique malty character with moderate bitterness and light tropical fruit notes, a hint of piney hops. Tasty.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing this one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, almost no head. Heavy malty aroma. Starts intense malty, roasty, earthy. Bitter background. Finish with notes of strong and bitter coffee. Warming aftertaste. Nice!

330ml bottle [courtesy of Bartlebier - thanks a lot!]. Clear, copper colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy as well as fruity hoppy aroma, mello wmalty background, notes of red berries, red currant, some mandarine, a touch of nutmeg. Taste is fruity hoppy, slightly vinous and mildly yeasty herbal-spicy, hints of white grapes, hints of red berries, a touch of quince, diluted hints of cherry, a touch of mutmeg and clove, black pepper. Quite complex, well balanced, still refreshing and easy drinkable.

Bottle. Lovely citric and tropical hop aroma. Hazy golden, white solid lace. Medium light body, sparkly mouthfeel. Nice citric and tropical hop notes on a very light grain base, tiny bit minerals. Fresh and pleasant summer ale.

Good, receding greige head, fed by finely carbonated deep brown-black beer. Liquorice, plywood, chocolate bars. Sweet & dry smelling at the same time; sweet spices. Again plywood, some liquorice, cacao. Not really sweet, dryness is much more outspoken - the aroma is no doubt due to the spices used. Only in the finish the roasted malt acquire some sweetness, as well as a flavour not unlike mocha mixed with cacao powder. Pretty slick, medium to rather well bodied, good carbonation. There's a smoothness no doubt linked to the oats. Pretty interesting for a sweet sout. Danke vielmals, Sebastian S!

On tap @ Ghetto Something. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke, chocolate and cinnamon. Pours almost black color with medium soapy light brown head and fair lacing. Taste starts with medium sweet and rich roasted malt, moderately smoked, following is spicy with chocolate note, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Would rather say it’s a standout stout...

Tap. Clear yellow color with white head. Aroma is grassy, ripe early apples, biscuity, melon, sticky hop oils. Taste is apples, melon, peach, biscuity malts, grassy, citrusy, resinous finish. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Nice!
