[12oz can from Total Wines, Brea, CA.] A hazy amber pour with a thick cream head; aroma of pineapple and tropical fruit salad; smooth body with more pineapple flavour than you could imagine piling in with some mango in support; then a dry apricoty finish - not much sign of any beer though.

[On tap at the HI, La Mirada, CA.] A flat looking hazy amber pour with no head; aroma of banana and yeast; sweet and lifeless in the mouth, tasting like a hefeweizen, but lacking the pazzazz of the real thing. Instantly forgetable.

[12oz can from Albertsons, Fullerton CA] A hazy pale amber pour with a loose white head; citrus aroma; smooth grainy body with a citrus and tropical fruit; then a light dry, slightly chalky finish. Refreshing.

[25oz can picked up at Artesia Liqour, Cerratos, CA.] A pale straw coloured pour with a thin white head; sweet cereal grain aroma; sweet grainy taste with a hint of vanilla; and a chemical bitterness. But having said that, this is much tastier than most of the beer drunk at a Dodgers game, so well done AB InBev.

Tap at LAX. Slightly hazy orange gold pour with minimal white head. Aroma is mild orange peel hops, not much there. Taste is very bitter but not much flavor. Hops are citric sort of, malt is bready like crisp Scandinavian rye cracker. Decent but quite bland.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, best before 6/12/2019. Pours very hazy deep golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, watermelon, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, watermelon, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, woody, floral, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of mandarin orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, watermelon, red apple, gooseberry, white grape/wine, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Slight lingering resins/rinds through the glass after the finish. Minimal warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops, lactose, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; great soft feel. Great Bravo, Cascade, El Dorado, Hallertau Blanc profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a great balanced lactose and wheat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressively well made style example.

22 oz. draft @ Outback Steakhouse. Medium dark gold color with a white head and decent retention. Tastes very lager-like. Like a mix of a pale lager and a golden ale. Smooth, clean and easy drinking. Repeatable.
