19.2 oz can from Taplands, 5/18/16. Mostly clear orange color with an off-white head that leaves some streaky lacework. Heavy hopped and heavy boozed. Dank. Peach. Booze. Easily one of the most boozy IIPAs I can remember trying. Either way, this is an interesting and rather strong beer with a really nice hop profile, but to be honest, I find it too boozy for the style. Still, worth trying, and solid. Not super drinkable though. Keep it colder, as it warms the booze come out even more. A beast for sure.

Golden with a white head - Malt and hops in the aroma - Good malt to support a nice hop profile that has some fruity tones and bitterness - The fruity hop and bitterness goes into the finish - This was nice

On tap, 30th April 2016 in Smoqued, Old Town Orange. Clear golden pint with a full white blanket of foam for a head. Floral and citrus nose with a grapefruit led citrus flavour, decent enough and went well with my Pulled Pork, but not really my thing.

Can. Pours a clear brown with small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is wet biscuit and toasted malt. Medium mouth, roast, caramel, bready malt, light finish, good.

Can sample at a Special Stout tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom - quite like duvshaniot, a bit of nuts, caramel and chocolate. Sweet and spicy flavor with winter spices, caramel, chocolate, a bit of nuts, a bit of bitterness, roasty hint. Medium-bodied. Not bad, but too spicy for my liking.

Can. Dark brown with less than a coat of beige head. Some floaties. Lots of ginger, brown sugar, vague antiseptic. Medium bodied, unpleasantly tongue-coating. Sweet with syrupy ginger, dough, odd woody and medicinal notes that stick out at the end. My wife insists that I go and put my head in her late grandmother’s credenza’s side cupboards to appreciate how she thinks it tastes. She likes it more than me. Bad.

16oz can pours with a clear copper body that has thick gold edges and supports a decent light tan head. The aroma offers up some fruity esters, some grapefruit and stale pineapple with a bit of vague hop bitterness. The taste delivers a blend of apricot and citrus candy flowing into vague thin resiny bitterness. It holds onto an out of place estery fruitiness right into the finish that clashes with the hops.
