On Tap at the tasting room Hazy pale golden with a soapy off white head and lacing. Tart citrusy aroma. Classic Saison flavors at first, Belgian yeast up front, and some herbal florar notes that I assume are verbena. The lemon I could have pegged. Nice flavors, interesting, a little heavy

On Tap at PreFunk in an 10oz tuplip murky deep orange with a creamy heavy off-white head. Huge citrusy aroma. Big and sweet light malt with tons of juicy tropical citrus and melon hop flavors. Thick heavy palatte and long lingering tart hop bite. Not nearly the bitterness of most DIPAs or some singles for that matter. Delicious none-the-less.

Wine barrel aging adds a hint of sourness to this, doesn’t detract or take over. Nice tang added to the tripel body for an added dimension.

Nice cloudy brown body, not as peaty as normal scotch, more toffee and caramel. Smooth and malty , mildly sweet.

On Tap at the Boise tasting room. Hazy redish amber with a coarse light tan head. Lots of soft caramelized malty flavors and some peat and a touch of spice. Low bitterness but a late trailer of something a little funky. Smooth and soft carbonation. Thick wet palatte.

Agree with BuckeyeBoy, Woodland Empire is knocking it out of the park. Pours out a milky, hazy copper/orange with minimal head. No evidence of the high ABV in the aroma or taste. Smooth malts and mild hoppiness come to the forefront, very drinkable for a triple IPA. Goes down smooth, no burn. Awesome stuff.
