On Tap at the Boise BP Hazy redish amber witha persistant soapy tan head. Lots of thick even lacing. They do a good job making sure the glassware is clean. Very mild soft light toasted malt aroma. Barely getting any smoked notes. If I didn’t know better Id say is a was a nice Brown Ale.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a autumn leaf color topped with a small sand head. Nose is sweet malts spice caramel smoked apple wood and some bread. Taste is as the nose with a nice mellow smoke along with a good sweetness.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose is rich roast malts pumpkin spice and some nice sweetness. Taste is as the nose with a nice roast malt some chocolate sweetness and a good pumpkin spice.

On tap at Boise pub. Pours out a hazy straw topped with a white head. Nose is cucumber watermelon and some spice. Taste is the nose with a nice watermelon twang with a odd bitterness thing on the end.

On Tap at the Boise taproom Hazy dingy yellow with no real head or lacing. Very faint light grain aroma. Plenty of sweetness and a lot of melon flavor. Seems to be more like rind than red "flesh" of the melon. Rather sharp and somewhat surprising bitter IBU bite. Was a little surprised to see it listed at 25 IBUs but yes...its interesting and a bit bizzare. Very low carbonation. Possibly the first tap of the day it got a little flat in the lines.

On Tap at the Boise Taproom. Clear dark redish brown Modest fleeting light tan head and sturdy persistent lacing. Nice soft roasty aroma. Flavors of light roast, chocolate and a touch of coffee. Rather light bodied and smooth. Not much of the characteristic slick oat feel. Missing that sour tang a lot of straight up porters have. Would love to see this place go totally balls-out on a 9.5% Baltic or Imperial. Their pattern of sessional beers is nice though. Still though, this beer makes me smile..Sarah

On Tap at the Boise taproom Clear dark redish brown. Barely a hint of wispy lacing, Very softly carbonated. Nice soft light roasted flavors with a little sweetness that helps along the subtle pumpkin flavors. Agreed. subtle and complimentary notes for the gourd.

Not overpowering with pumpkin spice like most, but actual pumpkin which accents the normal porter body and flavors perfectly. Enjoy this as a nice porter and forget the usual "fall flavorings". This is the real deal.

On tap at WE taproom. Nice and smooth stout, fairly robust, thick and slick. Pours out near black with a minimal beige head. Roast grains are prominent throughout.

On tap at The Beer Mongers, pours an amber brown / near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out oatmeal and lightly sweetened cocoa. Flavour is the same, with a very restrained profile. Solidly made but nothing special here.
