Something adde that sort of ruins the whole experience. Lokks right, but something off in aroma and taste. Maybe ginger? Body and consistency are n, but not the taste. Had higher hopes for this.....

On Tap at the Boise tasting room. Slightly hazy chestnut color with a thin light tan head. Light toasted barley with a bit of toffee and woody bitterness. Smooth caramel flavors, toasted woodiness and a tough bitter. Pretty mild for the style but still a lot of flavor and very tasty. Lacking the harsh bite of a lot of ESBs but balances enough, Another tasty and sessionable brew from the new kids on the Boise block.

On Tap at the Boise tasting room. Clear deep brown.mahogany with a ring of light tan bubbles. Big coffee aroma, but none of the burnt over-roasted notes that are in a lot like this. Some bitter chocolate and toasted grain and ore coffee in the flavor. But again, in a soft smooth way. Maybe the best coffee featured/ forward beer I’ve had. As good as Founders (though a different style) Very drinkable and at 3.4%, Rob I think nailed what he was going for on this.

On tap at the Boise tasting room. Hazy golden with some nice thin lacing. Classic mild Belgian flavors, with a smooth soft palate. Fairly sweet and easy for 9%. An unusual flavor note I couldn’t place, but it worked.

On tap at the Boise tasting room. Hazy soft orange with a wispy creamy sandy colored head. Fresh woody pine aroma, PLenty of bitterness, soft and woody. Surprisingly light bodied for the moderate 6.2% Sessionable and tasty.
