375 ml bottle. Pours a clear, pale gold with a medium white head. Faint malt aroma. Sweet flavour of malt with a hint of fruit and a mildly bitter finish. Light body with watery texture and soft carbonation.

Breaking up my intense reviews of huge-alcohol barley wines, I’ve got this weird import pale lager found somehow in Edmonton. Comes in a stubby bottle. Pours with a clea golden body with minimal carbonation and can get decent head if coaxed the proper way. Aroma is tin and stale cardboard like a million other nameless pale lagers the world over. Flavour is heavy breadiness, a solid boring lager flavour with a dry finish. It knows what it is at least, and it isn’t especially good. But it could be worse, which is about the best you can say for it.

375 ml bottle. Pours a clear dark gold with moderate head of big bubbles. Aromas of grass, corn syrup, and malts. Flavors of cereal and malts up front and it’s a bit paper , but there is a lingering burnt hair aftertaste. Yuck.
