hazy yellow colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of fruitiness, barnyard, woody notes, wet wheat, some pineapple, tannines and acetone notes, taste of vinegar, barnyard, bittery tannines and some fruitiness; is it really a Bire de Garde? I've found it more like a gueuze, or a wild ale...

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium brown foamy head with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some bourbon notes with some tart notes also noticeable. Taste is also a great mix of bourbon notes with some roasted malt notes with light residual sugar with some tart notes clearly noticeable. Body is lighter then expected with some medium carbonation. Enjoyable but missing some balance and need body to be more full.

Bottle from a trade. Many thanks! Shared @ RBBWG 2017. Dark brown, black colour, beige foam. Nose of roasted malts, lemon, balsamic vinegar, coffee. Bitter and roasty taste with refreshing sourness. Bit funky, nice experiment.
