Few cans while seeing show at Roadrunner. Drank from can so imagine standard looking pils. Grainy and crackers. Tastes of bread crust and dough and grass and harsh grains. Hint of sweetness. Fine enough bodied

Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange to almost copper color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which popped it's way off then left some spotty lace
Aroma: grapefruity, piney, and citrusy hop blends with a semi-stiff crackery malt base
Flavor: moderately bittersweet through the prior mentioned tones; grapefruity to tangerine/clementine-like aftertaste but sweeter than the normal level of those fruits, maybe somewhat sugary
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; light carb and fairly smooth; finishes pretty sweet
Overall: maybe not a top tier NEDIPA but it's an okay beer, part of me thinks some tweaking needs to be done to get some of that excess "sugary sweetness" out.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: semi-murky orange color with a one finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: candied tangerines, and other tropical fruity tones, light dose of clean malts
Flavor: sweet initially then becomes more bittersweet as it opens up; mild aftertaste of the candied tangerines
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability about it. Semi-smooth along tongue but also some hop bitterness; finishes semi-crisp and that candied tangerine sort of sugary-ness
Overall: the candied tangerines seem a bit overdone/somewhat distracting, so I'm not exactly sure if I would want to reach for this again, maybe if someone handed this to me.

Can to shaker pint glass. Eh, urhm, uhhhhh, okay, well, all I'm going to say is "it is what it is" - shakes my head but here goes with what I could fathom about this beer:

Appearance: murky orange to amber color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated quickly, no lace
Aroma: deep piney hops run over some clean biscuity malts
Flavor: bittersweet and fully blended through the prior mentioned aromas; meager aftertaste of pine and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, keen sessionability, finishes malty smooth with some pine
Overall: seems fairly old school and a decent beer to possibly have again if offered

*Wish I had a becher pint glass, ehhh, but not 100% sure how well that would help this beer.

Can to tulip.

And, well, I'm not going to say much here about the different attributes except that this is Thunder Funk on steroids so with that in mind, did I like this that much more? well, maybe just the fact that the aroma doesn't change, the flavor really doesn't change and the texture - just a little bit more ABV than the base beer and basically the same numbers, I believe I gave Thunder Funk.
My general feeling is if someone handed me this, maybe I would consider it, maybe.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy amber to copper color with a sly transparency; two finger white foamy head which died off eloquently and left some light lace
Aroma: some piney hops which try to mesh with some clean malts and underneath that are some muted tropical fruits
Flavor: mostly does a decent job of pulling in the prior noted aromas in a bitter way then a light sweetness from some of the tropical fruitiness and piney hops meshing together; no aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, mostly a sipper; semi-smooth but also some hop grip; finishes semi-crisp and piney
Overall: seemed somewhat odd to me, hard to say if I'd be willing to try to reach for this again - maybe if someone offered it to me

Can to tulip.
Appearance: hazy orange color with a two finger white foamy head which slid off delicately and left a mild lace
Aroma: big amounts of mango and guava roll over some sweet grassy and lemony hops, some yeasty tones
Flavor: combines the prior mentioned aromas semi-sweet with a tart and sour combo; mild aftertaste of mangoes and guavas
Texture: light bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; somewhat low carbed (was that on purpose? I don't know), finishes crisp and tart with the guavas and mangoes
Overall: for the most part, I'd say this is one of their best beers to date and would make a fabulous beer to have on a Summer Sunday afternoon.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark brown color with a one and a half fingers of khaki foamy head, dissipated at a quicker than normal pace and left some bubbly lace
Aroma: dark roasted malts, some dark chocolate, and cocoa powder, light coffee tones
Flavor: bittersweet through the prior mentioned aromas; light aftertaste of cocoa powder and roasty tones
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat a sipper, some smoothness; finishes roasty
Overall: where was the peanut butter? Not even a touch of peanuts, uhmmm, "hello, McFly, anyone in there?" Nope, no peanut butter.
