6/4/2024. Can courtesy of DanF, cheers. Pours clear amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, brown sugar, flowers, biscuit, honey, hedgerow. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite lively.

Bottle: Poured a murky dirty golden color ale with a large foamy head with light retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of candi sugar and sweet malt notes with some yeasty ester. Taste is a mix of spicy malt notes with some candi sugar notes and yeasty ester with some strong residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Not bad but not totally clean beer. Additional attenuation would have been required in this beer.

375ml bottle pours a murky brown with a ring of grey head. Nose is all booze and dark fruits, malt and candy. Flavor is big malt and candy, the fruit is all thee, the booze, dates, wood, figs. Full bodied, chewy finish. Boozy. Nice.
