We started out life as a cuckoo brewery at the end of 2020 and throughout 2021.
We’ve now set up our own small batch independent brewery in Tollcross, Glasgow and continue to develop our core range alongside our one-off special seasonal range.

Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours cloudy golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy lasting white head. The aroma is sweet, doughy white bread, sponge cake, biscuit, cereal, melon, pear and apple crumble. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, bitterness which lingers throughout, grain, cereal, hay, biscuity malt, peppery spice, grass, floral accents and some bread with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite like what's going on here. An above average golden ale with some interesting nuances.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a big creamy white head. Nose - lemon and floral with a light hint of caramel caramel. Taste - caramel and bread with just a touch of lemon zest. Palate - light bodied, sweetish middle and relatively dry on the finish. Overall - decent but I expected it to be drier.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy golden amber. Proportionate white head. Nose - cake, dried orange and pine. Taste - orange peel and cake. Something medicinal lurking at the end. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and lightly sticky middle with a chewy bitterness on the finish. Quite balanced. Overall - this is verging into ESB territory. It's definitely West Coast that's for sure.
