Foamy white head left a froth on an unclear pale golden coloured body. Citrus aroma. Medium bodied, short & sharp. Lime, grapefruit, pithy & biscuit tastes. Nice one.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - mat black with a massive fawn head. Nose - oh, interesting combo of roast and tropical fruit. Dark chocolate and leather too. Taste - dark chocolate mainly, some lurking pineapple and definitely some sweet wood spice. Palate - medium bodied, with a dry, roasty finish. Overall - good!

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy breakfast orange juice in appearance with a big fluffy white head with an orange tinge. Nose - mango, orange, almond and dessicated coconut. Taste - more of the creamy almond and coconut, nuttiness. Lush mango, apricot, melon and some orange zest. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and light dryness on the finish. Overall - good, despite me not approving of so many adjuncts.

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of coconut, lime, grapefruit, resinous pine. Taste is identical, Sabro and Motueka giving their coconut and lime flavour to the fullest, plenty of grapefruit and resinous pine too, not sure I'd describe the bitterness as fierce like they did but it is decently strong especially being only 5%. Medium bodied. Sabro and Motueka is a very interesting pairing that I'm not sure I've had in a WC IPA before, it's worked really well.

Can shared with L&M. It pours slightly hazy honey blonde with a bubbly white head. The aroma is quite savoury, smoked, honey glazed ham, bonfire smoke, fragrant, slightly medicinal in character, bitter - sweet, honey cake and bread. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet, straw, toasty grains, honey white bread sandwiches, rich smoked character, peat reek, fragrant, medicinal, Islay whisky and a touch of tannin with a drying, smoked finale. Medium and fine carbonation. Super interesting and unique beer. Almost needs a touch more sweetness to balance it out, but I enjoyed it.
