On tap at The Craft Beer Cabin, Bromley. Murky orange pour with a white head. Coconut, zesty lemon, lime & gooseberry jam aromas. Taste is spookily similar. Fruity, tart & unsurprisingly dry.

9 June 2024. Can at The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Shared with the lovely Anke!
Hazy brown, stable, foamy, tan head. Aroma of brown sugar, dried fig, date, red apple, almond, vanilla, brown rum, caramel, green tea. Taste has sweetish fig, raisin & red apple in a brown-sugary, caramelly and almondy malt body with subtle herbal & toasted-nutty notes. Herbal hops in the finish, some bitter rusk & tea leaves providing balance, lingering dried fruits and warming brown rum-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Lacks the body of most BA beers to really pack a punch, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - orange to cherry red. Foamy pinkish-white head. Nose - raspberry, surprisingly light funk note and generally creamy. Taste - ripe raspberry and still some funk. Palate - light bodied, dry and tangy middle with a lightly funky finish. Overall - was not expecting the funk. Enjoyable if not completely on style.
