Bottle from a world food store in Chelmsford. Clear pale gold colour with a white head. Slight malt aroma, with cereal. Quite high carbonation, light body. Not one of the better pale lagers.

Rating from 2008. 33cl-bottle. 12,8,12,6,12,7 - 8,50

Rating from 2009. 33cl-bottle. 12,9,12,8,12,9 - 9,75

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe - Clear golden yellow, frothy white head, looks as good as any Lager/Pilsener/Kölsch/Helles style beer. Nose is a feint lemony kind of tinge, taste has something similar, with a not too bad mouthfeel. Quite enjoyed this to be honest.

Appearance: Golden color with a frothy white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: The aroma was unfortunately not very inviting. Cabbage & malt. (Mybee it was the lovely Akerselva that had some scheisse flowing by at that moment)
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Slightly sweet malty and mild hoppy.
Overall impression: It was better than expected. Especially after that aroma. Fresh and easy drinkable.
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with KnutAlbert. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon in Oslo by the river, together with Mr Visionthing and Mr Arve_Christian.

33cl bottle (shared by Cunningham - thanks!) Pours golden with a large, white head. Fairly malty aroma with sweet corn, cooked vegetables and hints of fruits. Fairly sweet, not much bitterness, but hints of hops and some bitterness in the finish. Medium to light body. Ok pale lager, but far from interesting. (2013-04-19)

Bottle from Beers of Europe. By no means the worst pale lager but nothing much going for it either. Pale, lager, carbonated.

12oz bottle at this little Ethiopian spot at 14th and P Streets NW in DC. For those who don’t know, DC has a thriving Ethiopian community and I am just getting around to trying their beer. Pour a clear gold with some sudsy, sticky white head. Nose of honey, wet flour, light dough, hay, grass. Flavor is the same, sweet, malty, some heavy honey, white bread, hay. Clean, smooth finish. Not bad at all.

Fluffy white head over big-bubbled yellow golden beer. Straw, grassy, dusty grass. Faintly wet hay, some dry, not-too-sweet malts. Very malty, sweetness comes out more in force warming up. Light to watery, very slightly sticky MF. Less sweet than the other Ethiopian beer, but not necessarily better. Thanks to the V. Brothers and their mystery supplier
