1st Beer in my random tasting evening of 12 Aug 2011. The brown 33cl bottle (best before 11/2011) was poured into a ’Paderborner Pilsner’ badged stemmed flute. Regular lager look, clean, clear, light golden body, crowned with a snowy white head of bubbles, the head left some good lacing on the flute. Sadly it went down hill somewhat after the initial pour and stare. The smell was of wet cardboard, some dried cut grass and rotting grains. The taste wasn’t there, it was bland and boring, even by ’mass produced’ lager/pilsner standards. This is my second beer from this brewery and most likely my last. Usual lager spritzy carbonisation, but being tasteless it was just like a fizzy thirst quenching watery pop rather than a refreshing beer.

Slight bready aroma on the nose, drank from the bottle but it looks like any pale lager. Flavour is light maltiness with a semi-dry finish. Drinkable and okay.

330ml Bottle. Golden with white head. Malty aroma and taste, some corn , a bit grainy. Your typical average lager for any country.

Shared 330 ml bottle. Golden colour, slightly hazy, minimal head. Unpleasant sweetish industrial aroma, some fruity notes. Tolerably fresh flavour, some fruity notes. Not great, but not undrinkable either.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Light golden colour, white head. Nose is skunked malts, vegetables, hint of corn. Pretty vile. Flavour is slightly better, sweet malted, hint of cooked vegetables. Slightly bitter finish. Not very well done.

Bottle from Le Nil Bleu, Ethiopian restaurant in Lausanne
Blond color; poor head. The arom ais very light, with some malt and cereals. The body is weak, the mouthfeel is dry; there is very light flavor; the bitterness is quite low. The final is a bit metallic and corn-ish. Poor.

Leicht säuerlicher Apfelgeruch. Milder Antrunk, leicht getreidig, säuerlich. Angedeutet hopfig, dies wirkt aber ziemlich billig. Erfrischend, im Abgang getreidiger und plörriger. Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,6,6,9,6 - 6,35
