Bottled, from Systembolaget. Near black, firm head. Aroma of smoked ham, chocolate and tobacco. Mid sweet with medium to full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Chocolate, smoked charcuteries and some caramel.

Over medium body, below average carbonation. Long lasting finish. Moderate to over sweetness and bitterness. Porter with a Nordic twist. Nice one.

12/4/2025. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours clear dark amber brown with a small lasting frothy beige head. Aroma is fruit cake, dried fruits, toffee, honeycomb, flowers, brown bread. Medium sweetness, mild bitterness, touch tart. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Really nice.

Earthy, roasted malt, floral and spicy notes (heather), hints of coffee, notes of Whiskey, some oak wood, hints of Bourbon. Hints of liquorice. Interesting, complex, a lot of flavors to explore. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Bit boozy long lasting finish. Very nice.

Black with a small tan head. Comes across a bit pastry like upfront though I can’t put my finger on exactly how, still good and expected notes of oak, coffee and chocolate. A bit boozy in the finish. Good, but not the quality I’d hope for from a Narke Kaggen.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Chocolately, roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dry cocoa, minimally earthy, fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of apple and tobacco, toffee undertones. Taste is chocolately, roasty, dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dark cocoa, dry cocoa, subtle residual sweetness, mildly bitter, slightly fruity and minimally earthy-leafy hoppy hints of apple and tobacco, subtle hints of coffee and toffee.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, foamy to creamy carbonation.
Balanced, homogeneous, focussed - lovely.
