Draught
Blond color. Aroma of cereals, light honey. The mouthfeel is quite dry, because of the high bitterness and hopping, quite aromatic.

Brown color, nice lace; light aroma of malt and fruits. Good malty body, medium structure, very good yet subtle fruitness, elegant hopping, caramel. Imagine a fruity Dubbel… Impressive.

(Bottle 25 cl) Black and opaque with a small, off-white head. Aroma of lightly burned malt. Solid and full-bodied with both sweet and burned malt and a slightly ashy edge. A lightly malt bitter finish. 260806

(Bottle 25 cl) Pours completely black and opaque with a handsome, dense light brown head. Complex, vinous aroma with sweetish, roasted malts. Very full body with a shipload of roasted malt and notes of dried and overripe fruits. And then oak of course. Discreet bitterness with the alcohol shining through. Extemely complex and pleasant from start to finish. 260806

First rating(Draught at The Rover in Gothenburg) Almost black, with a little brown nuance, in color. A nice looking brown creamy head. Scent is very sweet mixed with some roasted tones. Sweet, fruity and roasted taste. Mellow roasted after taste. Thick and creamy mouth feel. If you have a few minutes to spare, this is a nice way of doing it, sit down, relax and have some sips of this excellent brew.8/5/8/5/17=4.3Rerate(Draught at Bishops Arms Järntorget, Göteborg)On October 19, 2008 - PorterfestivalenTried ’’’’spring 2007 - 7.2%’’’’ side by side with ’’’’spring 2008 - 7.5%’’’’2007 version:Very dark brown to black color, small light brown head. RBESG 2006 Grand Tasting. ABV is 6.3%, OG is 1.070. Lovely chocolate aroma, roasty with notes of toffee too, hints of tar and liquorice. Flavour is malty and moderately roasty, pastry notes. Another fine beer from one of my favourite breweries.

Bottled. Oh my. If the Stormaktsporter was fabulous so is this. Pitch black colour and nice brown head, which leaves a bit lace. Aroma is so full of everything, roast, plum, raisins, licorace, some coffee and caramel. Also dark fruits. Flavour contains the same, and along to that a nice touch of wet burnt oak. This is totally awesome in any way. Still, I won’t give a 5.0, since I might find some better beer, but this is among the best there is!
